Final Image!

I'm so proud of myself!

I went to Formby Beach on Saturday, there was the strangest sky ever goin' on! I managed to get some gorgeous pictures of the dunes and the beach in general.

The photographers that i've been looking at for my "Freelance Project" have been Stephen Shore and Ansel Adams. Both very different, but very distinctive in their works.
I wanted to study both of their works, but Adam's has always stood out to me as the Granddaddy of Landscape Photography, his work is so inspiring and timeless, I wanted to create something just like it. The weather on the Beach on Saturday was just amazing, so moody, with hints of sunshine and fluffy clouds.

Mountains, Ansel Adams

Adams' image of "Mountains"
This has a bit more contrast than mine, but the concept is still the same.

I'm actually really happy with the way my image turned out in regards to Adams'. It isn't a direct copy, it's different enough to be on it's own.

Don't forget guys, you can always check me out on Facebook, or on Flickr or DeviantArt!

I'd love to hear comments from anyone!

The Zoo

So! Whilst my sister was visiting, we decided to go on a day out to the Zoo. Our closest Zoo is Chester. It was such a fun day out, and I thought it'd be the perfect chance to get some wonderful shots of Animals.

Some of my favorite shots are of the butterflies! I do love how some of these insects look! Some of the Butterflies are amazing to look at, I mean, their camoflauge are amazing!
The above photo, was a butterfly that landed on my sister's friends hand. I managed to get close enough to get this amazing macro shot. I really love this!

The image to the Right was a Butterfly that looked to me like an Owl. So amazing... When it opened its wings, it was the most amazing shade of Blue! Blue green, if you know what I mean... so beautiful
Elephants have an amazing memory. It is thought that they never forget.
I love this shot, the contrast in it, the creases in the face. I just think there is so much emotion in this photo. I'd love to hear your opinion!

Thanks for reading, as per usual.
I hope you enjoyed the photographs. To see more, don't forget, you can go to my facebook page and "Like" me. I also have a Deviant Art and a Flickr. Links are below!

See you soon guys!
