Bokeh!

Soooo, I decided since all the gorgeous christmas lights are up in town, I'd give changing Bokeh a go. I haven't done it properly and I wanted to see what it'd look like if it was done properly.
I'm actually really happy with the way these turned out, but I really want to get a picture of someone or something in focus and the lights behind out of focus, in the shape of a heart or star.

I think if I try Bokeh again, this is what I'll try doing.

I'd love to hear opinions, leave me a comment and some critique!

"Fashion is Rubbish"

These are the images that I've taken from the shoot today. It's for my Personal Project which I've entitled "Fashion is Rubbish" the concept stems from the rubbish quality clothing we are wearing in today's time. I decided I wanted models wearing clothing made from materials we'd consider "Rubbish!".

I had a wonderful team backing me, I can't thank them enough for making the shoot go seamlessly and made it extremely fun. Trying out new ideas, helping the models pose, and the most fun part, throwing scraps of comic book at poor Lesley!
I am hoping that these will look beautiful in my book which I am planning on releasing for this, keep an eye out!

Thanks guys!

Changing Bokeh

Here are some examples of my attempting to change the "Bokeh".
I can't really explain bokeh properly myself, so I'll find someone else to do it for me..
"In photography, bokeh is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur in out-of-focus areas of an image"
Thanks to Wikipeda for the information!

Anyway, this is my attempt of Bokeh, I bought some pink ball fairy lights and decided I was going to give it a bash, since everyone else could. I know my pictures aren't that great at the moment, they're simple, and only showing the out of focus lights. But I think this works. I decided that I was going to try this before putting it in a shot with something else. I have some ideas how to make this work in other aspects of shoots, but I wanted to learn how to do this before anything else.

I'd love to hear any comments or opinions if you have them, if you do have some negative comments, please do say them constructively, don't just say "thats bad" if you do think so, please tell me how I could improve.

Thanks for looking!
